Затримано чотирьох циганок-шахрайок, що "працювали" на Хмельниччині

Протягом 2007 року на теренах Хмельницької області зафіксовано 115 шахрайств, значну частину з яких вчинили цигани

Злочин здійснений циганками-шахрайками у Славутському районі. Декілька циганок завітали до оселі пенсіонерки ніби попити води, а у результаті винесли із хати старенької близько десяти тисяч гривень, які та збирала на "чорний день". Проте зловмисникам зникнути не вдалося - сусід потерпілої побачив невідомий автомобіль марки "Шевроле" з номерами іншої області.Стражі закону на повідомлення про шахрайство відреагували оперативно і невдовзі орієнтування на правопорушниць було розіслане у всі райони Хмельниччини, а й у сусідні області. Протягом доби до Славутського відділу міліції зателефонували львівські колеги та повідомили, що у містечку Золочів затримано чотирьох жінок циганського походження віком від 30 до 67 років, схожих на тих, які були в орієнтуванні. "Підозрюваних одразу ж доставили у Славуту, де потерпіла пенсіонерка впізнала своїх кривдниць. Подалися до районного центру й інші жителі нашої області, які за схожих обставин "позбавились" своїх матеріальних цінностей. Отож, поки ще рано говорити, яка загальна кількість злочинів на рахунку цього "злочинного квартету". Не виключено, що свій шахрайський слід циганки залишили і в інших областях, адже прибули вони у наш край аж із Донеччини", - розповів начальник центру зв'язків із громадськістю управління МВС України у Хмельницькій області Віктор Коверзюк.Як з'ясувалося, прибули жінки на Хмельниччину на приватному таксі. Саме чорний "Шевроле" і вивів правоохоронців на слід підозрюваних, авто винайняли ще у Донецьку. Водій за свої послуги отримував щедру платню з розрахунку одна гривня 50 копійок за один кілометр. Окрім матеріального збитку, зловмисниці могли завдати шкоди і здоров'ю своїм жертвам - одна із них хворіла відкритою формою туберкульозу.
